Do you want to experience life at an organic coffee farm and learn what it takes to process one of the world’s favorite crops?
Once a very small coffee farm with only a few plants when it was first established in 1995, this organic coffee farm now roasts all of its own beans, provides tours, guided hikes, lodging, and meals for guests. This family-run business also has souvenirs and coffee products for sale. Tours last for about 2 hours. We had an amazing learning experience during our visit at the Bella Tica Coffee Farm. We learned the long coffee process from the plant to our beloved morning cup of joe.
We are planning a future trip to stay at their Bed and Breakfast to volunteer at the farm and local community. The Monteverde Cloud Forest is one of only three type forests in the world and offers a great variety of outdoor activities.
